Autos for Animals helps pay most or all of emergency care services for pets so people are not forced to make the decission of having them put down due to the cost.
How it started
Each time one of our pets passed away, I watched my wife grieve. I felt helpless as how to comfort her for her loss. All I could do was be there as we both suffered the emotional trauma of losing one of our "family" members. There are senior folks who have no companion to help them through this reality of life. It's even more devastating if they cannot afford the high cost of veterinarian services and the only option is to put down their beloved pet. The grief of this loss can lead to prolonged depression and sadly, even death. I have seen this happen on a personal level, although the owner was financially capable to cover the medical costs. Autos for Animals will offer financial assistance to cover emergency veterinarian services your pet requires. In event of a loss, we also offer free professional grief counseling to see owners through this difficult time. Currently, we are only offering this program in a limited Northern California area.
